Sweet Home tax rates are in compression as a result of Measure 5 passed in 1990.  The general government and education falls within the compressed rates. Sales Tax:  Oregon has neither sales tax nor inventory tax.  The 2005 composit tax rate for the City of Sweet Home is $21.0959 per $1,000 assessed value*.
