Covered Bridges

Sweet Home is really proud of the area's covered bridges. The historic Weddle Bridge, pictured above, is located in downtown, just behind Sweet Home High School on Long Street. Another historic bridge is the Short Bridge is just off of Highway 20 on High Deck Road, 1/2 mile west of Cascadia. 10 miles west of Sweet Home on Highway 228, the Crawfordsville Bridge spans the Calapooia River.
In all, Linn County is host to 9 historic covered bridges.
