Four miles east, Foster Reservoir is a popular recreation area where campers, anglers, water skiers, boaters, picnickers and swimmers enjoy activities in a beautiful setting.  Nearby Green Peter Reservoir also provides similar recreational activities including the pursuit of trout and kokanee salmon. Linn County has several parks with swimming and camping facilities located around the lakes. Reservations are required for camping at the Linn County Parks. The Quartzville Recreation Corridor and Back Country Byway intersects the Byway to provide a beautiful, scenic, alternate route to Highway 22 as weather permits.
