Natural Recreational Opportunities
There are many natural recreational activities in the Sweet Home area throughout the entire year. At the top of the list are fishing, boating, kayaking, water skiing, swimming, hiking and snorkeling. Clear Lake, Green Peter and Foster Reservoirs provide these beloved activities in a stunning setting. With plentiful deer and elk, this region provides ample recreation for local and non-local hunters. With Sweet Home located at the entrance to the Cascade Range the setting is ideal for the hikers, campers, skiers, bird watchers and observers of nature. Fossilized leaves, petrified wood, crystal geodes and agates draw rockhounders to the region.
